Scholarships are awards available to students who qualify that do not have to be repaid based on financial need and academic standing.

Veteran's Fund Scholarship/EMA (West Texas-Abilene, Breckenridge, Brownwood and Sweetwater)
This scholarship is for students that are veterans and enrolled at any of the West Texas campuses-Abilene, Breckenridge, Brownwood or Sweetwater. For more information and application process, contact your local campus Veteran's Representative.
Emergency Aid Scholarships:
Rapoport Helping Hands Scholarship (Waco Campus)
Applicant cannot be a first semester student. Must have a recommendation from a TSTC employee and the maximum award is $1,000. This scholarship provides assistance for needs outside of tuition. For more information and to apply, contact you Enrollment Coach or financial aid staff member.
Snyder Helping Hands Scholarship (Statewide)
The scholarship provides assistance for financial burdens outside of immediate school expenses. Student must be in good standing with the college and have demonstrated financial need. Susan Brown Barry Helping Hands (Statewide)
This scholarship is for students that have aged out of the foster care system. The scholarship provides assistance for financial burdens outside of immediate school expenses. Sponsorships:
Amadeus Wind Energy Scholarship (Sweetwater Campus)
This scholarship is in the form of a sponsorship for newly enrolled students in the Wind Energy Technology program in Sweetwater (West Texas campus). Student must be from one of the following counties: Fisher, Kent or Stonewall. If awarded the sponsorship, the recipient must maintain a 2.75 gpa to continue receiving in each subsequent semester. AT&T Wind Energy Scholarship (Harlingen Campus)
This scholarship is in the form of a sponsorship for newly enrolled students in the Wind Energy Technology program on the Harlingen campus. The scholarship is open to any student from Texas, preference is given to students from one of the following counties: Duval, Hardeman, Webb or Wilbarger. If awarded the sponsorship, the recipient must maintain a 2.5 gpa to continue receiving in each subsequent semester.
