Instrumentation is the science of measurement and control of pressures, levels, temperatures, flows, or any other variable in process control. It is used in all automated processes whether it is in power generation, oil refineries, chemical plants, food processing, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and building environmental control. Instrumentation is a vital part of any production or manufacturing plant, it’s what keeps them running. TSTC Instrumentation graduates are field ready and qualified to go to work with minimum on the job training.
At TSTC, you'll be trained on everything from basic electronics to highly advanced computer-controlled assembly manufacturing cells. Upon graduating, you will be prepared to design, develop, test and manufacture electrical circuits and computer-controlled mechanical systems. You will also be able to operate these machines in factories and other worksites.
