Going to college is all about getting a job. At TSTC, job placement of our graduates is important to us and that's why we've made it our commitment to you. It is a part of who we are and what we do. By shaping you to get hired, we're providing you all the essential tools you need to give you the best opportunity of getting the job you deserve.

TSTC is known as the "get-a-job" college because we're experts in helping you find a great career. Learning the technical skills in class to do the job is a very important part of the process, but actually getting the job is the ultimate goal. That's why our commitment is focused around putting all of our efforts in that crucial step in the job search process by "shaping you to get hired."

Shaping you for greatness postcard

Getting a job takes just as much skill and preparation as it does to actually doing a job. Alongside teaching you the technical skills you need to do the job, we want to teach you the professional skills it takes to land the job. Some of the things we're committed to help you with include:

  • Résumé writing.
  • Interviewing/Mock interviews.
  • Job search.
  • Professionalism.
  • And more!

Helping you find success in a great career isn't just part of our mission, it's our obsession. This is how we do business. In fact, our commitment to helping students find jobs is so strong we’ve also made it our Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) as part of our accreditation.

We want every graduate from TSTC to be successful in finding a career after graduation. If you need additional help in preparing for the job search, contact your local TSTC Career Services office.
