Course Description and Objectives: Course will cover fundamentals of electricity and electronics with a focus on electro-mechanical devices, switches, and relays used in robotic systems. Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
- Possess knowledge of basic electronics.
- Practice electrical safety (Lockout /Tagout, and high voltage safety).
- Ability to use meters and electronic test equipment.
- Ability to solder and inspect solder joints.
- Ability to test and replace faulty components.
- Upon passing the course (70%) each student will receive a certificate of completion.
