What is New Student Orientation?
New Student Orientation (NSO) is an introduction to Texas State Technical College's (TSTC) campus and student life.
The health and well-being of our TSTC student community is our highest priority. New Student Orientation (NSO) will not be hosting face-to-face orientation for new students. New Student Orientation will be conducted in an online format.
The online delivery of New Student Orientation will cover the same topics of information that are essential for each new student to be familiar with such as Campus Resources, Student Planning, Student Life and much more.

Why attend New Student Orientation?
Orientation is a way for all incoming students to prepare for the transition into college life, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Students who attend orientation are more likely to stay in college and be satisfied with their college experiences, more likely to get better grades and more likely to graduate.
