Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Harlingen Workforce Training & Continuing Education has been providing superior training programs through collaborative partnerships with business, industry, service organizations and higher education agencies for 50 years. The Workforce Training & Continuing Education staff helps clients establish specialized, custom training programs, often with the newest technologies and/or production systems available. These training programs are designed to update and improve employees' current skills, knowledge and abilities, or to prepare new employees to enter your workforce.

Training can take place at a variety of locations, using many forms and formats, including on campus, client's location, partner campus, commercial location - such as conference center, or even "virtually" as distance education (developed on a requested basis). TSTC also offers flexible scheduling to accommodate clients' operations, including evening and weekend classes or multiple shift training sessions.

Additionally, TSTC Workforce Training & Continuing Education Business Relationship Managers (BRM's) provide consulting services to help identify the clients’ individual training requirements. BRM's create collaborative, working relationships with clients to ensure training programs are scheduled to accommodate the clients’ operations, shift work, or other constraints. They also ensure projects are fully defined as to purpose, scope, objectives, schedule, deliverables, format, content and cost.
